Who we are

Blender Agency Kids AS is a sales agency and distributor for baby, kids and family brands in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. We are the controller for the personal data collected through blenderagencykids.com.

Who this policy is for

This website is made for retail buyers and brand principals, not for consumers. The personal data we receive is mostly contact details for people who work at shops and brands, shared with us in a business context.

What we collect and why

We only collect what you choose to send us through the forms on this site. Each form asks for the details we need to answer you and take the conversation forward.

When you apply as a brand, we ask for your brand, website, name, email, category, preferred cooperation model, markets and a message. We use this to assess whether we are a good fit and to get back to you.

When you apply for a retailer account, we ask for your store name, organisation number, name, email, city, country, webshop or Instagram, and the brands you are interested in. We use this to review the application and, if approved, to set up and manage your account.

When you request a studio appointment, we ask for your name, store or brand, email, preferred date and the brands you want to see. We use this to plan and confirm your visit.

When you use the contact form, we ask for your name, email and message, so we can reply. When you sign up for our buyer news, we only ask for your email address, so we can send you the newsletter.

On the brand, retailer, studio and contact forms you can also leave a phone number. It is optional. If you do, we may use it to call you or send you a short text message to confirm we have received your enquiry.

Legal basis

For brand applications, retailer applications, studio appointments and general enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries and building business relationships. Where you ask us to take steps towards an agreement, such as opening a retailer account, we also process your data to take those steps.

For the buyer news newsletter, we rely on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to us at kid@blenderagencykids.com.

Who helps us process your data

Our website is hosted on Netlify, and all form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, Inc. As part of hosting, Netlify also keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request details, to run and secure the site.

When a form is submitted, our team is notified in our internal Slack workspace so we can respond quickly. If an enquiry leads to a business relationship or a follow-up, we may enter the details into our CRM, Pipedrive.

These providers act as data processors on our behalf. They may only use your data to provide their services to us, and not for their own purposes.

Transfers outside the EEA

Some of our processors, including Netlify, are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the EEA. Where applicable, these transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

Enquiries and applications that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted within 24 months. If we start working together, we keep the relevant details for as long as the relationship lasts and as long as we need them afterwards.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access, to get a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification, to have incorrect data corrected
• Erasure, to have your data deleted
• Restriction, to limit how we use your data
• Objection, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest
• Portability, to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format

To use any of these rights, just email us at kid@blenderagencykids.com. We will reply as soon as we can, and within the time limits set by law.

Right to complain

If you think we handle your data in the wrong way, we would like to hear from you first. You also have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet, at datatilsynet.no.

Cookies

We do not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies. The site only uses what is strictly necessary for it to work.

Our fonts and scripts are hosted on our own site, so visiting a page does not send your data to third-party font or script services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website or the way we work changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
